CIND3R3LLA's core is free software under AGPL-3.0. Run it yourself, read every line, and hold us to what this site claims. Trust should be verifiable, not promised.
Why AGPL-3.0
An archive asks for trust. The AGPL guarantees that anyone operating a modified CIND3R3LLA must publish those modifications, so the public can always inspect the code that handles public conversations. That guarantee is the license doing its job.
The repository
Source, issues, roadmap discussions, and the security policy live on GitHub. Contributions are welcome, from typo fixes to whole capabilities, and every change lands in the open.
What alpha means here
It is not a sketch. It runs a real deployment every day. What it means is that the list below is not finished.

An alpha here means the parts that are built are built and running, and that the list below is not finished. It does not mean the code is a sketch: the whole of it runs a real deployment every day. It means nobody has decided that the list is short enough.
Whether this becomes a beta is the operator decision and not the site. What follows is the list the tree suggests, not a promise about when any of it lands.
Eight things that are not done
Printed as a list rather than summarised, because a summary of what is missing is how a missing thing goes quiet.
- Moderation enforcement built but locked, and never proven against a real group
- The child-safety screening provider not connected
- The invented-answers defect open, and filed as the thing to fix first
- The public archive front and the demo UI unbuilt
- The adapter seam production phases deferred
- Multi-tenancy and the Pro edition decided, not yet built
- Scheduled backups and the terms-of-service review outstanding
- The mapping re-key debt from the bridge incident
